Giving their wider circle the 'first look' from their day on social media is becoming increasingly popular amongst today's couples.
This is particularly true for those Gen Z couples who are beginning to tie the knot, and that’s where wedding content creators come in. This vendor will capture every moment of the couple’s wedding - and maybe even make them go viral!

Searches for 'colourful bridal bouquet' are up 266% since last year, proving the growing demand for creative and eye-catching floral arrangements.

Mini wedding dresses have grown in popularity over the last few years, after endorsements from celebrity brides such as Sophie Habboo and Kourtney Kardashian. Though the trend has been emerging for a few years, we expect 2025 to officially be the year of the mini, and we're so here for it!
Searches for 'wedding video' are up over 170% as couples recognise the importance of capturing all their magical memories on film to relive time and time again. The growing popularity of wedding videos and content creators suggests nearlyweds are more conscious than ever about preserving memories from their big day.
The majority of heart shaped wedding cakes we're seeing at the moment also lean into the retro wedding aesthetic which is also having a real moment right now. We're talking frilly icing, bright colours and hand-piped captions. Yum!
As well as mini wedding dresses, the Barcelona runways were filled with new and improved floral wedding dresses that truly represent modern nearlyweds. We're talking hand-painted petals on beautiful fabric, 3D flowers adding volume to dresses and intricate beaded florals.
A tuxedo is super versatile, and whilst it is formal wedding attire, it's a little more laidback than the traditional British morning suit.
Nearlyweds may have just the wedding party members in tuxedos, or take the trend a step further and opt for an entire black tie dress code.
It's giving Bridgerton, it's giving cultured, it's giving everything and we're obsessed.
We know from our latest National Wedding Survey that couples are prioritising personalisation and guest experience, which is why we're not at all surprised to see live wedding painters and artists as one of the biggest 2025 wedding trends.
Yeah, guests could take a photo on their phone. But that isn't half as cool as having a moment captured forever in a painting or drawing, created live in front of all their guests.
With more and more nearlyweds looking to save money and prioritising quality over quantity, trimmed down weddings are back with a bang.
Think intimate venues, sophisticated menus and lavish celebrations - all for your nearest and dearest.
Venues, this is a great chance for you to expand your offering. If you don't work on an exclusive basis, consider advertising multiple smaller spaces within your venue for more intimate affairs. It's also important to remember that small weddings don't always equate to small budgets. Some couples prefer to invest more in a higher quality experience for a smaller group, so don't discount small wedding enquiries!
Venues aside, there are a number of vendors who can also benefit from this particular trend. Cake makers, florists, photographers, planners and other wedding pros all need to consider how they can adapt their packages and services to couples who are after small micro weddings.
Pro Tip
Short wedding dresses make great second dresses as well as main gowns, so bridal boutiques need to ensure they offer options across a range of different price-points. Consumers also love dresses with versatility, so mini wedding dresses with overskirts that offer a two in one look could really appeal to those who wants both! Vendors working on styled shoots should consider embracing the cool mini wedding dress aesthetic to appeal to modern and fashion-forward nearlyweds.
Pro Tip
Filmmakers need to ensure their wedding videos stand out from the crowd. Fill your Storefront with a variety of wedding video styles and structures to show the best of your work. It's also important to offer a range of products within your service.
Social media now plays a huge role when it comes to sharing wedding content, so talk to couples about the type of assets you can create for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
Pro Tip
This is one of the 2025 wedding trends you'll have seen all over your social media, so think about how you can make this trend your own. While these slightly smaller cakes are trending, you need to branch out and upsell to maintain a high average contract value. Offering an entire selection of sweet treats that fit this trend is a great way to do this. Think heart shaped cake pops, cookies, cupcakes and more!
Pro Tip
This trend requires more than simply ordering in more floral wedding dresses. Instead, take the trend to the next level and think about how different customers may want to embrace this trend. Some may want just a touch of florals, and others will want to go full floral eleganza. To ensure you have something for everyone, invest in accessories, veils, overskirts, belts and more outfit accents that complement this trend.
Pro Tip
This fashion trend suggests couples in 2025 are moving towards a more glamorous, formal aesthetic. This is something which every vendor can lean into, from photographers and videographers to stationery designers and wedding planners.
Think about how your products and services fit with this emerging aesthetic.
Pro Tip
Ensure your Storefront is filled with pictures of the finished artwork, as well as content of you actually painting. Connect with photographers and videographers who you've worked alongside at weddings and ask to share their content on your Storefront.
Other vendors who offer unique wedding entertainment and personalised services should do the same. Personalisation and bespoke services are all the rage right for 2025 and beyond - now is your moment to shine.
Pro Tip
Wedding content creators aren't here to replace photographers and videographers. Quite the opposite, content creators can work alongside photo and video suppliers to complement their services. If you're a photographer, videographer or wedding venue, we suggest adding a few content creators to your preferred supplier list.
Other wedding pros should consider working with wedding content creators on styled shoots and BTS content for your own marketing and social media.
Pro Tip
Neutral colour palettes have dominated weddings for some time now, but in 2025 and beyond, colourful wedding flowers will have their moment again.
During a visit to Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week earlier this year, our editors spotted more short wedding dresses than ever before.

Last year film wedding photography was pegged as one of the key trends, and this year it's wedding films!
Love is in the air - and on the dessert table! More and more nearlyweds are searching for 'heart shaped wedding cakes' to bring a cute and kitsch touch of romance to their celebrations.
Flowers, for a wedding? Groundbreaking. Except it is - as the floral wedding dress has been reinvented for 2025 couples.
Searches for 'tuxedo for wedding' are up almost a quarter since last year, as more nearlyweds opt for a glamorous, American-inspired look for their wedding suits.
Micro weddings are back, and it's nice to see small weddings trending without the influence of a pandemic!
Florists, ensure your Storefronts are brimming with a variety of arrangements including mix and match colour palettes, as well as bright and bold one-tone arrangements.
And it's not just florists who can benefit from this trend. Planners and venues, ensure you're well-connected with florists who work with bright colour palettes, and cake makers, show couples how you incorporate bright coloured florals on your bakes.
Pro Tip
Now that you know what's trending, it's time to take action! Head to your vendor admin section and give your Storefront a wedding trends refresh.
