Win a Dream Wedding 2026

1. ORGANISER OF THE PROMOTION

The company, Hitched Limited, with registered office at C/O A&L Goodbody, Augustine House, 6a Austin Friars, London, England, EC2N 2HA, United Kingdom, (henceforth, the "Organiser"), owner of the site, www.hitched.co.uk, organises this Win a Dream Wedding 2026 promotional action (the “Promotional Action”) online, in accordance with the provisions outlined in these Legal Terms.

2.  PARTICIPATION PERIOD

The Promotion starting date for entries is 8:00 a.m. 2nd January 2026 BST (the "Start Date") and the closing date for entries is 11:59 p.m. 2nd March 2026 BST (the "Closing Date") Entries received after the Closing Date of the Promotion will not be considered.

The Organiser will not change the Closing Date unless forced to do so by unavoidable circumstances outside their control (for example, changes in applicable law or governmental guidance that means the Promotion is prohibited, or supply issues in respect of the Prize caused by circumstances outside of the Organisers control, such as unforeseeable labour shortages or transport delays). In that case, the Promotion will be cancelled and to the extent possible reopened at a later date. All those Participants who sought to participate within the original terms will be given the opportunity to re-enter the Promotion.

3. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

Requirements that must be met by all participants: Participation in the Promotion is free (without any monetary cost) and those who participate must meet the following prerequisites:

• Be a person over 18 years of age.

• Be a resident in the UK, including the Channel Islands, and hold a UK bank account in their own name.

• Be planning to get married between 1st April 2026 and 31st December 2026 (inclusive), or be willing to reschedule their original wedding to fall within this period.

• Be getting married, or planning to get married in the UK.

Be a registered user of the Hitched platform (www.hitched.co.uk, the “Website”) during the Promotion Period, and register and/or log in via one of the applicable participation pages (the “Participation Landing Pages”) using complete and accurate information:

• Have not been a Winner of any previous editions of any Promotions established by the Organiser.

• Comply fully with the provisions of these Legal Terms.

The following persons may not participate in the Promotion: 

• The Organiser's employees, executives and/or partners and their respective families, nor any other person directly or indirectly related professionally to the Organiser or the Promotion.

• Any immediate family members (i.e., parents, children, siblings, spouse) of an Employee, or 

• A person residing in the same household as an Employee or a Family Member. 

Those who fulfill the eligibility requirements as described above, and who follow the participation mechanics as described in Section 5 below, will be referred to as “Participant/s”, accordingly.

If at any time it becomes evident that any of the participants do not comply with the requirements set out in the Legal Terms, or that the data provided to participate are inaccurate, their participation will be considered void, and they will be automatically excluded from the Promotion and will lose all rights to the Prize awarded by virtue of this Promotion. Participation in this Promotion implies the unreserved acceptance of these Legal Terms in their entirety.

4. REWARD

The Organiser will reimburse to the Winner the total amount of the invoices provided by the couple in relation to services provided by up to ten (10) professionals registered on the Website ("Vendors") who have been hired by the Winner for their wedding reception (wedding photographers, videographers, florists, amongst others) taking place between 1st April 2026 and 31st December 2026 up to a total amount of £30,000.00 (thirty thousand British pounds) (the ‘Prize’) (exclusive of applicable taxes). For the avoidance of doubt, the Organiser retains sole discretion as to whether any Vendor invoice submitted by the Winner is accepted for reimbursement.

5. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: MECHANICS OF THE PROMOTION

To enter the Promotion, participants must register and or log in (as applicable) on the Promotion Landing Page during the Promotion period.

Participants who have registered through the Promotion Landing Page during the Promotion period can receive an additional entry if they complete one of the following:

• Participants who do not have the Hitched app downloaded as of the Start Date, must download the Hitched app during the Participation Period and log in with the same email address used to register for the Promotion. 

• Participants who already had the Hitched app downloaded prior to the Start Date, must login during the Participation Period with the same email address used to register for the Promotion to gain an additional entry.

There is a maximum of two (2) entries per User and bulk entries made by third parties will not be permitted.

To be eligible to win, the email address associated with the Participant’s Hitched account must be verified. Participants may be required to verify their email address through a confirmation link or validation process sent by Organiser before an entry is considered complete. Entries submitted without a verified email address will be disqualified.

6. WINNER SELECTION

The Selection of the winner will be carried out by means of a random computer draw through which one (1) Winner and ten (10) alternates (in determined order: 1st (Winner), 2nd (alternate 1), 3rd (alternate 2),...)  will be selected during the five (5) business days following the Closing Date of 2nd March 2026 (the “Selection Date”).

The Organiser’s decision as to the Winner is final and no correspondence relating to the selection of the Winner will be entered into. 

If the winner does not meet the requirements to qualify for the Prize or does not accept it within the deadline set in Section 7 below, the same procedure will be applied to the first alternate and so on. In the event that none of the selected participants are eligible for the Prize, a new draw will be held in accordance with the conditions set out in these Legal Terms.

Entries and/or the Winner may be disqualified if the Organiser determines, in its reasonable discretion, that the entry contains, among other things, false information, inappropriate language or remarks, offensive or discriminatory content, or any content that violates or infringes any third party’s rights. 

7. ACCEPTANCE AND DELIVERY OF THE PRIZE: NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION 

The Winner will be notified by telephone or email (to the email address indicated in their user profile) and provided with the applicable Prize acceptance document(s), including but not limited to an agreement regarding the Prize conditions and a waiver and release of publicity rights (the “Acceptance Documents”).

The Winner must return the signed Acceptance Document(s) within two (2) working days of receipt. If the Winner fails to do so in the specified manner and within the specified time limit, their participation will be considered null and void, and it will then result in the Prize being awarded to the next alternate.

Once the acceptance of the Prize has been confirmed, the Winner will be required to provide the following additional documentation within five (5) working days:

• NINO/National Insurance Number

• Certificate of residence or utility bill issued no more than 3 months ago, the holder of which must be the same as the Winner.

• Bank account ownership certificate.

• Visual and audiovisual material of the Winner and their partner, and a written testimonial on how they received the news of the Prize (the ‘Material’).

• The winner will be announced once the agreement has been executed and all required documentation has been correctly received.

The Winner will send to the Organiser, the Vendors' invoices and proof of payment of the services that are intended to be covered with the Prize, via a submission form provided by the Organiser. All Vendor invoices must be in the Winner's name. The Organiser will reimburse the Winner for each eligible invoice and related proof of payment within a maximum period of thirty (30) calendar days from the verification by the Organiser of all the corresponding documentation.  Such verification shall be in the Organiser's sole discretion.

The number of Vendor invoices subject to reimbursement is limited to ten (10), however invoices can be split into multiple payments per Vendor. Reimbursement in the Jewellery category is limited to £5,000 and Honeymoon Vendors will not be included in this competition Prize.

The Organiser accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage suffered by: 

(i) any Vendor that provides products or services to the Winner. 

(ii) the Winner in respect of any acts or omissions of any Vendor engaged by the Winner or any inability by the Winner to benefit from the Prize for any reason. 

The Prize should not be deemed to be a cash payment but a reimbursement of an expense arising from a service already contracted by the Winner and must not be, in any case, transferable, changed or altered. The Winner shall be responsible for any late payment obligations in respect of the selected Vendors, tax implications that arise as a result of accepting the Prize and any other costs and charges in respect of accepting the Prize. The Prize does not create any form of agency of other commercial arrangement between the Winner and the Organiser.

All payments must be submitted to the Organising Company within the 2026 fiscal year.

8. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of the products or services contracted by or supplied to the Winner, or for any inability of the Winner to benefit from the Prize for any reason whatsoever.

By way of example, but without limitation, the Organiser accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft, delay or any other circumstance attributable to third parties that may affect the development of this Promotional Action, nor for the use made by the Winner in respect of the Prize obtained from this Promotional Action.

The Organiser declines any kind of responsibility for any damages or claims produced subsequently in relation to the Prize, object of the Promotional Action.

The Organiser accepts no responsibility in cases of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances that may prevent the Promotional Action from taking place or the total or partial enjoyment of the Prize.

9. TRANSFER OF RIGHTS

In order to disseminate and publicise this Promotional Action, the winning entrant will provide the ‘Material’ mentioned in these Legal Terms, expressly authorising the Organiser to reproduce it, together with their full name. The winning Participant also agrees to obtain any authorisations required in relation to the use of the Material by the Organiser, including image rights and copyrights. By participating, the Winner consents to transfer to the Organiser the property rights to all images, videos, and interviews of their wedding day, to be used worldwide in the Organiser’s promotional materials, in any format now known or developed in the future (including landing pages, newsletters, ads, articles, and social media). Any Participant unwilling to provide such consent should not enter the Promotion. Refusal to provide the Material or authorisations will be considered a breach of these Rules, and the Prize will be awarded to an alternate Winner as outlined in these Legal Terms.

Additionally, Organiser may, at its sole discretion and expense, offer the Winner the option to host a content creation team (composed of Organiser's internal team and/or external third-party agencies, the “Content Creation Team”) at their wedding to generate promotional and marketing content. This content, including but not limited to photographs, video footage, and testimonials, may feature the Winner, their guests, the Vendors, and the setting ("Event Content"). Participation in this content creation opportunity is strictly optional. The Winner shall be deemed to have accepted this option by registering for the Promotion on the Promotion Landing Page, unless the Winner explicitly declines the offer by communicating their refusal to the Organiser via email to support@hitched.co.uk within five (5) days following the notification of the win. Unless the Winner opts out of this option, Winner irrevocably grants the Organiser and its assignees a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works from the Event Content, including the image, likeness, and voice of all individuals appearing therein, for the purpose of marketing, advertising, and promoting the Organiser across all media channels, including social media, websites, and promotional materials, without any further compensation or time limitation.  Winner acknowledges that a release and waiver regarding the aforementioned rights may be part of the Acceptance Documents.

10. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

By accepting these Legal Terms, each Participant confirms they are a registered user of the Hitched platform. The processing of personal data relating to use of the platform is carried out in accordance with Hitched’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.hitched.co.uk/about/privacy-policy/. 

The processing carried out for this Promotion is governed by these Terms. For the purposes of administering this Promotion, the Organiser (acting as data controller)  will collect and process personal data of participants associated with their Hitched user account (e.g. name, email address, and contact details). This processing is carried out on the basis of the performance of a contract, namely the participant’s agreement to enter and take part in this Promotion under these Terms.

If selected as a Winner, the Participant may be asked to provide limited supporting documentation (for example, proof of identity and proof of address) only to confirm eligibility and to comply with legal and tax requirements. 

Where needed to process the Prize, limited bank details strictly necessary to complete the payment will be processed. 

In order to receive the Prize, the Winner must also provide images, video or testimonials for promotional use by the Organiser, in accordance with the contest rules. This use of personal data is based on the performance of the contract between the Winner and the Organiser, as participation in the contest implies acceptance of these Legal Terms.

The Participants reserve the right to withdraw their entry at any time prior to the draw, providing 7 days' notice to the Organiser by emailing support@hitched.co.uk.

The Participants can exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, portability, restriction and/or opposition to processing by sending an e-mail to gdpr@hitched.co.uk . They have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

10. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The Organiser reserves the right to modify the conditions of the competition at any time, including its possible cancellation, before the Closing Date, provided that there is a justified cause, and undertakes to communicate the new rules, conditions or cancellation sufficiently in advance.

12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms and Conditions for participation in the Promotion are governed in each and every respect by the laws of England. Any action brought in relation to these Terms and Conditions shall be brought before the exclusive jurisdiction of the London City's Courts, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction.
